In a heartbreaking incident in Virginia, USA, a 56-year-old man of Indian descent and his 24-year-old daughter were shot and killed at their convenience store. The store was family-owned.
Firstly, the Accomack County Sheriff’s Office stated that at about 5:30 a.m. on March 20, deputies took a call about a shooting victim at a convenience store. It is located on Lankford Highway.
When deputies arrived, they located an unresponsive male, who had apparent gunshot wounds.
While clearing and searching the store, deputies found a female with gunshot wounds.
The male was declared dead at the scene, and the female was sent to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She suffered from her injuries.
Suspect Arrested
Police have arrested a 44-year-old man George Frazier Devon Wharton, in connection to yesterday’s shooting.
Allegedly, the motive behind the shooting is still under investigation.
